    This week is a normal schedule except Wednesday is a half day for 9-11 graders due to PSAT. Seniors congrats, you don’t have to come the school on Wednesday.

    Homecoming tickets will be on sale AT LUNCH today & tomorrow. Make sure to bring A CHECK to lunch/ or EXACT cash to the front office for a $25 singles ticket or $45 for a couples’ ticket.

    Tomorrow’s is Tourist Day as a Time Traveler.

    Make sure to go to your Google Classroom and vote for homecoming king and queen.

    The library will be closed tomorrow, Oct. 15, for the National Honor Society Fall Blood Drive. The Blood Drive will be from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. If you signed up to donate blood, be sure to eat a good breakfast that includes protein and come to the library at your scheduled time. Bring a photo id and your completed parental permission form if you are under 18. Only NHS members who signed up to work the blood drive may come during your scheduled periods.

    Science Olympiad will NOT meet this Wednesday; we will meet next Wednesday. Please return invitations to Mrs. Tygielski this week.

    Any instrumentalist interested in playing for the Feast Day Mass needs to come to Broken & Shared rehearsal this Tuesday after school in the band room. Please see Mrs. Porter if you can’t come.

    Guidance Announcements:
    Tomorrow morning the University of Washington in St. Louis will be in the library at 7:25 and Spring Hull College will be at both lunches. Please stop by and visit both college reps and see what their colleges have to offer.

    PSAT Reminder for All Students

    Seniors have the day off on Wednesday 10/16 to finish college applications and visit any colleges.

    All 9th, 10th, & 11th Graders:

    Make sure to eat a good breakfast before the test.

    Get a good night's sleep before the test.

    BE ON TIME! We will begin testing promptly at 7:50 and cannot permit students into the test once testing has started. There is no make-up exam day for the PSAT.

    Bring a calculator. Please check your email for the approved list of calculators from the college board.

    Students will need two #2 pencils with erasers (No Mechanical Pencils).

    Students may bring a water bottle and a light snack (Please be considerate of students with peanut allergies).

    No backpacks or outside reading may be brought into the testing rooms.

    Cell phones will be collected during the test and cannot be used at any time during testing.

    Students will not be allowed to wear smartwatches or Fitbits. Please leave these at home.

    Students will NOT be allowed to go to their locker before or after the exam on 10/16, so make sure to get everything you need on Tuesday, 10/15.

    Students will be dismissed around 12:00PM after the exam.

    Room assignments will be placed outside the MPR and inside the MPR by 3 PM on Monday, 10/14. Please check for your room assignment

    Thank you, the Falcon Faithful, for attending and cheering on your Falcons at the competitions over Fall Break! You guys played a critical role in the Falcons' successes!

    Athletic Announcements:
    Congratulations to the Lady Falcons Volleyball team on their tremendous victory over Danville during Fall Break! Way to go Ladies! The Lady Falcons have two away 7A matchups this week before heading to the Area tournament next week.

    Congratulations to Football on their tremendous victory over that team we played on Friday night! It was a great team win.

    Make plans to attend the HOMECOMING Football game Friday night! Come cheer your Falcons to victory as the Hawks of Danville flock to the Discovery Dome!  Battle of the Birds kicks off at 7pm be there!! Let's be real, where else would you rather be this Friday night?

    Seth Brown has once again been nominated for AL.com Huntsville Player of the Week. Voting ends Wednesday night.

    Volleyball has their final Home AREA match against Danville on Thursday, October 10. Varsity match begins at 4:30.

    Football plays host to rival Randolph on Friday October 11. Come out to the Discovery Dome kickoff is at 7pm! Cheer on the Falcons as they bring the Raiders to a day of reckoning.

    If you are planning to get your driver’s permit over fall break, make sure you stop by the front office before Friday and request a proof of enrollment form.

    Lunch service has begun! Remember if you want lunch the week we return from Spring Break, you must place your order today.

    Today is the last day to purchase a homecoming corsage to be worn Friday, October 18 at the homecoming game. Order online at jp2athletics.com. Cost is $16. Pickup will be right after school in the MPR from 3:00 to 3:30 on Friday, October 18. We will not have extras available for purchase so you must order online.

    FALCONS!!!! This Friday the Varsity Football travel to West Morgan to take on the Rebels in a pivotal Regional matchup. Kickoff at 7pm! Come out and support the Falcons!
