  • 11.15.19 Announcements

    Seniors, remember to bring BOTH permissions slips for the retreat to Ms. Smith or the front office. Any senior who does not have the forms should see Mrs. Smith. 

    Yearbooks sales are open and will be $50 until Jan 1, after that the cost will increase to $70 until Jan 31. All sales are through Balfour.com, no purchase should be made via JP2. Senior ad sales are now open. See Coach Burks if you have any questions.  

    Chess Club is cancelled for Nov. 15 and Nov. 22.  The next Chess Club meeting will be Dec. 6

    Seth's Touchdown pass to Nick Stokes against Danville is up for WAFF Play of the YEAR!! Voting ends November 22 at 3pm!!

    The football team will be taking on Jacksonville TONIGHT at the Discovery dome (Discovery Middle School) in the second round of playoffs. Be there!

    Activity Period Announcements:
    Clubs meeting today are Thespian Society in the MPR, Math Team, NAHS, and FCA in the gym.

    Friday is a regular spirit wear, so all students must wear uniform bottoms and are encouraged to wear black spirit wear tops in support of our Football team. All Falcons are also encouraged to wear black to the game at 7 pm at Discovery Middle School.

    Congratulations to Emilia Summerlin. She auditioned and was selected to sing with the Alabama All-State Choir in March.

    Congratulations to Angelo Hunter on being voted AL.com Player of the Week! Angelo received 14,859 of the 21,748 votes!

    The basketball games against Westminster have been postponed from this Friday to January 25. 

    Our football team advanced to the 2nd round of playoffs. They will be taking on Jacksonville this Friday night at the Discovery dome (Discovery Middle school).

  • The Foreign Language Department is sponsoring an out of uniform day tomorrow. Bring $2 or more to be out of uniform! All proceeds go to the Angel Tree Project. Remember, to follow the out of uniform guidelines.  

    Natalie Tedesco and James Wiegmann need to see Mrs. Margarete Smith before leaving today. 

    Seniors in B-day Theology class need to see Mrs. Smith to get the second field trip form needed for the retreat next week.

    The November meeting for Mu Alpha Theta will be after school today in Mrs. Flowers classroom from 3:15-3:45
