About The Falconettes
From their inception at PJPII in 2010, the Falconette Dance Team has brought excitement and energy to the athletic program while performing at football and basketball games. Under the direction of award winning choreographer and coach, Renee Bonifay, the Falconettes train and perform in five dance genres: hip hop, jazz, pom, kick and lyrical, with a view toward preparation for dance at the college and professional level. The Falconette Dance Team consists of from 10 to 20 members with diverse backgrounds, ranging in formal dance training from zero to sixteen years. The dancers like to spend time with each other in and out of practice and performances, and bring positive attitudes to the team every day. While no prior formal dance training is required, to be part of the Falconettes you must love to dance and perform!
Mission Statement
The mission of the Falconettes is to produce lifelong leaders that successfully represent PJPII Catholic High School, the Catholic community, and our Lord Jesus Christ, through outstanding citizenship while maintaining high academic standards and giving of themselves in community service. This mission is achieved through uncompromising commitment to individual and team training and obedient Christian living. The Falconettes shall support team athletics, promote school spirit, build student body cohesiveness, and improve their dance and performance skills. Falconettes at all times are representatives of PJPII and the Catholic community and are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that would be considered respectful by all.
Falconette Dance Camp!
The Falconettes are proud to announce their very first dance camp to be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 9:00 until 2:00. Dance Camp includes official t-shirt, dance poms, snack, lunch, photo with your Falconette Teacher, live performance for your family and friends, and fun memories.
