    Students, if you are missing ANYTHING make sure you check the lost and found in the MPR. It is located to the left of the stage when you walk in the MPR. It is currently overflowing! Also, if you lost a blue pencil pouch, blue planner, or any jewelry come to the front office.

    Liturgy Alive is looking for students interested in serving at Mass. Any student can serve as hospitality ministers and Catholics can serve as altar servers. Training for both is Wednesday morning at 7:05 in the Multipurpose Room. Liturgy Alive hopes to see you Wednesday! 

    Mrs. Hubert is starting a Bullet Journaling and Mindfulness Club. The club will meet bi-weekly on Thursdays and will be doing things like learning bullet journaling techniques to foster creativity and reduce stress. We will also be exploring mindfulness and helping each other learn to use mindfulness to alleviate stressful situations. Please, stop by Mrs. Hubert's office by tomorrow afternoon if you're interested in signing up.

    Students, if you come to school late or leave school early you MUST sign in and out in the front office…even if you bring in a note from a parent for late arrival or early dismissal.

    College Visits this week:

    Today during Activity Period University of Mississippi will be in front of the guidance office. So stop by if you are interested in attending Old Miss.

    Tomorrow morning from 7:25-8 AM, Mississippi College will be downing the student entrance, and Maryville College will be in front of the guidance office during activity period. Students make sure to stop by and visit with these colleges.

    Activity Period Announcements:

    If you are interested in being a part of the Green Team this year, please come to a mandatory meeting in Mrs. Forrest's room during Thursday's Activity period.

    The following clubs will also be meeting today: National Honor Society in the library.  Attendance is mandatory; French Club (for past and present students) in room 115; Art Club in Ms. Semmes’s room, Garden Club in the Courtyard, TARC in Finzel’s room, and Spanish Club in Ms. Christl’s room.

    The homecoming meeting today has been cancelled due to NHS.  Please check your email about meeting time. 

    Clubs meeting Friday:

    Chess Club in the library.  Anyone interested in playing chess for fun is welcome.  No experience is necessary; Latin Club in Ms. Schaefer’s room. This is a mandatory meeting; Math Team in Mrs. Flowers' classroom, and Drama Club in Mrs. Adam’s room (room 302).

    Mrs. Hubert is starting a Bullet Journaling and Mindfulness Club. The club will meet bi-weekly on Thursdays and will be doing things like learning bullet journaling techniques to foster creativity and reduce stress.     Auditions for the ensemble of our spring musical, The Little Mermaid, will be held August 21 (next Wednesday) in the multi-purpose room right after school. We are in need of sailors, princesses, gulls, sea creatures, and mersisters. For more information, please talk to Mrs. Adams or Mrs. Samantha Smith.

    Attention all TARC candidates that wish to participate on a TARC rocket team this year.  All applications need to be turned in a week from today.

    Mr. Burk’s 1st block needs to report to Ms. Dombrowski’s room tomorrow morning.

    Seniors who have senior privilege, make sure you are coming by the front office and check-in or checking out. You must initial the senior privilege sheet on the front desk or you will be counted absent.

    Any students that need RenWeb/FACTS access please come by the Guidance office to see Mr. Hill or Ms. Hubert immediately after school.

    Sports Announcements:
    Girls Soccer will be holding tryouts starting September 2nd.  Coach Bennett will be at lunch on Wednesday to answer questions.  If you are thinking about trying out, please sign up with him on Wednesday.  All students who tryout must have a valid physical. (Read Monday & Tuesday)
