Mrs. Thompson has been teaching since 2009, the majority of those years in Catholic Education, teaching World History, AP Government and US History. During her teaching career she has been chosen as the Keynote graduation speaker, James Madison Legacy Project member, a lead teacher and Kentucky Teacher Intern Mentor.. Her teaching philosophy is “Relationships with students is the key. Once we respect each other, the learning will happen.” Her favorite unit to teach is the French Revolution. Mrs. Thompson moved to Huntsville in May 2020 with her husband. She has three children Derek, Landen and Elly.
