Band

The St. John Paul II Falcon Band promotes the fine arts among the students and local community. Participation in the band fosters discipline, teamwork, responsibility and an appreciation for fine music. Ensembles include the concert band, pep/marching bands, and jazz band.

CONCERT BAND

The concert band is the main performing ensemble. They perform four concerts per year – Sacred Arts concert in October, Veterans Day program in November, Christmas concert in December, and the Spring concert in May. In addition to these performances, the band takes an annual tour of our partner schools as well as a trip over Spring break. Past trips have included Disney World, New York City, New Orleans and Atlanta. The band also performs for the District/State Music Performance Assessment in the Spring.

PEP BAND/MARCHING BAND

JPII Pep/Marching Band has been instrumental in cheering on the football team and has performed several halftime shows. The pep/marching band plays for all home football games, and has also performed for the Huntsville Havoc hockey team, and at Redstone Village for their Memory Care Unit.
